Entry Test Dates

Student athletes wishing to join any 4 year US university, especially participating in NCAA DI or DII sports soccer scholarship in September 2008 must book an Entry Test. All NAIA institutions request a Test score although some will waive for talented players with decent grades.

SAT TEST

The Standard Assessment Test (SAT) is the most popular. It is strongly recommended you take a test before January 2008 and make the booking in September 2007 if possible.

There are 6 test dates in the UK - 6 October, (14 September), 3 November, (11 October), and 1 December 2007, (8 November), 26 January, (26 December), 3 May (10 April), and 7 June 2008, (15 May). Registration deadlines are shown bold in brackets.

ACT TEST

The American College Test (ACT) is also popular and will suit students with science grades. There are also good standby arrangements for latecomers.

There are 5 test dates foreign students for entry in "Fall" 2008. These are 27 October 2007, (21 September), 8 December (2 November), 9 February 2008 (4 January), 12 April (7 March) and 14 June (9 May). Registration deadlines are shown bold in brackets.

BEST ADVICE

Do not put off taking a test. Even if there is uncertainty about entering university in the UK or USA failure to take a test by January 2008 will significantly reduce the chance of winning a soccer scholarship and/or the level of awards offered.

Please note the June SAT & ACT tests are too late and the May SAT test leaves little time for players seeking soccer scholarships.
