Pass4Soccer player drafted by New England Revolution

15 January 2010

Jason Griffiths, a Pass4Soccer player in 2006, has been drafted into the MLS by New England Revolution.

Jason left England in July 2006 to take up a scholarship with the University of Kentucky after attending the Pass4Soccer Showcase in December. Three and a half years later he is fulfilling his dream and will be playing for an MLS side next season.

Jason was one of five players selected to join the New England Revolution. Jason was drafted in the Third Round (48th Pick overall) of the 2010 MLS Super Draft. While at University of Kentucky Jason started 64 out of 65 games scoring 12 goals and assisting on 10 goals. From the penalty spot he scored 8 goals from 8 attempts.

We would like to congratulate Jason on his success so far and wish him all the best in his future as a Professional Footballer. Pass4Soccer hope this is the first of many over the coming years and wish all of the students currently in the USA luck with their studies and any combines they attend.
