Success Story - Curtis Gallagher
Curtis Gallagher of Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School is headed to Marshall University in West Virginia.
Curtis attended the PASS4Soccer Showcase in December and caused a real stir among US Coaches with his keen eye for goal. His superb character references and superior academic background have helped him acquire such a fantastic scholarship in the USA.
Marshall University compete in Conference USA and open the regular season against Appalachian State University where Curtis will be aiming to score past PASS4Soccer keeper Danny Free. In his first preseason scrimmage (friendly) he will be aiming to out fox PASS4Soccer Centre Back Louis Cross, formerly of Blackpool FC.
Curtis' first home game comes on 13th September when he will be playing at the brand new Marshall University Soccer Complex which is due to open next month.

Marshall University was featured in a 2006 movie featuring Matthew McConaughey and Matthew Fox titled We Are Marshall.
See what his Dad had to say below:
"Dan, Barry,
Just a quick email to let you know that Curtis had his interview at the US embassy yesterday and has had his visa application approved.
Marshall have asked that he fly out on the 11th August as their pre-season starts 13th August and they want him to have a couple of day to acclimatise.
It doesn't seem 2 minutes since he first enquired about Pass4Soccer and he is now about to embark on a fantastic journey.
Once again I can not thank you all enough for your help support and guidance and I will have no hesitation in recommending PASS4Soccer to anyone in the future.
I will keep you posted of his progress in the coming months but I am sure he will settle in quickly.
Many thanks
Regards
Martin."
