Pass4Soccer secures top places for Fall 2012

21 March 2012

Bright academic and athletic futures are on the way for many Pass4Soccer clients following the acceptance of scholarships to top US institutions.

David Styles was the first client of the 2011-2012 academic year to commit to a university. Following his release from Wycombe Wanderers and a short period in the P4S system he was snapped up by Hartwick College in New York where he is already making an impact in the spring soccer season. Highlights of his debut can be found on YouTube - a goal and an assist is not a bad way to start for a left back!

Following the December Showcase there was a scramble for the signatures of the top P4S soccer recruits. Biko Brennan, captain of Blackpool U-18 and Reserves, committed to College Cup runners up UNC-Charlotte. England Schoolboy U-18 captain Jack Pounce is on his way to St Peters College in New Jersey. His school and international teammate, Tom Fouhy, will be pulling on the shirt of James Madison University.

Top forward prospects Tom Barnes and James Taylor will be heading to San Jose State University and Fairfield University respectively. We look forward to them following in the footsteps of 2011 P4S recruit Jordan Ayris and banging in the goals during their Freshman year!

Joe Coombs and Luke Hobbs will be forming a new look defensive partnership for Lake Erie College. We expect to see plenty of "shut outs" there!

Franky Law will be spending the next 4 years at the beautiful Rollins College in Florida. James Abraham will be on the opposite side of the country as he has committed to Marymount College in Los Angeles, California. Hartpury College student Lewis Hilton will be in the mountains of North Georgia plying his trade for Young Harris College. Tom Dos Anjos, who was such a strong performer on the 2011 US Team Tour will be heading to the powerhouse soccer programme at William Carey University.

Two male players will be joining the Junior College National Champions, Cloud County Community College. Nathan Rose and David Cliff will hope to help bring another championship back to Kansas.

The P4S female recruits have also been in high demand and have secured high level scholarships. Ini Umotong of Aston Villa Ladies will be heading to Wright State University and will be joined there by England Colleges International, Lucy Quinn. Siobhan Wilson, another England Colleges International, has committed to Louisiana Tech along with Rosie Lethbridge.

Natalie Johnson and Georgia Jones will be boosting the midfield at Converse College, while Alexa Passingham of Arsenal Ladies will be pulling the strings at East Tennessee State University.

Several other clients have committed to various NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA institutions for Fall 2012.
