BCS organises National tournaments in over 10 different sports and encourages and supports the work of staff engaged in all aspects of sport and recreation in colleges and represents their views and needs in national forums.
BCS run National representative squads and teams in many sport and take part in international events and competitions. Many former competitors have gone on to play full National representative sport – but BCS also cater for those who simply want to take part and enjoy some activity.
Over 250 colleges across England, Scotland and Wales are affiliated to BCS, under a regional structure, making BCS the major force in sport and active recreation in the country for students aged between 16 and 19 years.
The Football division of British Colleges Sport comes under the auspices of England College Football.
English Schools' Football Association (ESFA) - www.ESFA.co.uk
